A Day Flower-Rain
I taught myself a miracle today;
To sip from my inside daisies;
A heart beyond healing angels;
But more important than that
I needed to retrieve-
My amen and my universe;
The flurries of my thickness;
That slides in and out of my chest;
My test undoing flapping wings;
Out of chimes behind my running -
The patience of my love that travels -
Further than my eyes can spin,
I want my skeleton to fall and heal,
And I will - my day I call your name Flower-Rain.
