She – of rain and breakfast,
laying outside smoking bacon, honey bees
sitting in baby chair arms, open blue eyes,
sunflowers stroking teabags and lemon drops -
white buzzing sky
sipping 50 yards, voice spreading air, kites floating by
smell of toast,
sun dispersing, suntoast and buttercups
first summer, blossoming early evergreen and hazelnuts
her heart is made-
of kitchen things
between garden glass and flower garden-
peach cobbler and apple pie in the oven-
morning comes to her like seagulls flying over harbors.

Take a Chance
Take this chance and never forget it;
Shall all this time permit it.
Just as what the future with display;
talking with talking can't displace it.
Doin the impossible night and day;
Shall I say unto thee the improbable.
Do what means to get through;
Take this chance and never forget it.

Striking Brilliance
Return the singing to my ears;
The night from later years;
This past comes haunting me.
Shall I ever see the moon in its memory?
It's secondary silver lining;
When striking brilliance appeared to me;
Once my eyes have seen the sun in absence.
One dangled reflection;
The breath I breathe in grace;
Shine existence to earthly shine.
Shall we dance in rain and thunder?
Put the faulted lines together
Bodies meet in colloquial skies
Sad eyes - the hours; we left behind.
